Bentonite used as filler in rubber, abroad, especially the former Soviet Union conducted significant research, and had practical application in rubber industry. 2 results and discussion
2.1 basis of modified bentonite in rubber in a small test application
2.1.1 modification of bentonite and effect on mechanical properties of NR and SBR vulcanizate
Fill different copies of the modified bentonite with NR and mechanical properties of SBR vulcanizates as shown in table 1.
As can be seen from table 1, NR, bentonite modified by SBR added 10 on integrated mechanical vulcanizate properties have no effect.
2.1. 2 modification of bentonite mixed with styrene-butadiene rubber performance
SBR respectively with the white carbon black, carbon black, along with other auxiliaries of modified bentonite in HA rheometer mixer mixing required to achieve a balance of torque and time as shown in table 2.
As can be seen from table 2, with SBR modified bentonite mixing balanced torque minimum, balancing the shortest time, description of bentonite and modified SBR rubber mixture.
2. the application of modified bentonite in tire factory
2.2. 1 experiment of semi-finished products
We included in the inner rubber of the tire and rubber buffer for 5 and 10 copies of modified bentonite, amplification combined with experiments in laboratory-scale formula and workshop, small scale formula and result reproducibility of experimental formula very well, and mechanical properties as shown in table 3.
As can be seen from table 3, joined in the tire rubber and rubber buffer 5~10 of modified bentonite, rubber compound not scorch time, have no effect on tire mechanical properties of semi-finished products, accounts, dramatically improving bond strength of rubber cord.
2.2.2 finished loading experiment
Of modified bentonite in Huadian tested a tire factory 5 tons, tires according to national standard test method for testing of finished products, endurance test of 79H, carcass intact, reached the national a-class standard. Both tires were also carried out the actual mileage loading tests of finished product, trials are conducted in Huadian city passenger transport company, from August 1996 to August 1997, finished model of fetal 900-20-16PR, the actual loading quantity is 10, models for the expedition, the road surface is mountainous shashilu. Test driving this one-way reach 50,000 public single maximum fare: up to 5. 3 km, minimum fare of 50,000 public., no quality issues, according to GB-516-89, and minimum fare of 2 poor pavement in mountain areas. 50,000 public form, modified bentonite used tires which are feasible.
3 conclusion
(1) add 10 in natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber modified bentonite without affecting its Vulcanized synthetic mechanical property.
(2) good machining properties of modified bentonite, mixed with styrene-butadiene rubber
(3) joining of modified bentonite in the tire can significantly improve the adhesion strength of rubber cord, loading test experiment of semi-finished products and finished products that include 5~10 in the tires of modified bentonite is feasible.

膨润土用作橡胶填料,国外特别是前苏联进行过大量研究,并在橡胶行业进行了实际应用。我们对膨润土在橡胶中的应用也进行了一些研究,不仅在实验室进行了改性膨润土在基础胶中的小试应用,而且在轮胎厂也进行了批量应用,结果良好。

2 结果与讨论
2.1 改性膨润土在基础胶中的小试应用
2.1.1 改性膨润土对NR和SBR硫化胶力学性能的影响
填充不同份数的改性膨润土的NR和SBR硫化胶力学性能如表1所示。
从表1中可以看出,在NR ,SBR中加入10份改性膨润土对其硫化胶的综合力学性能没有影响。
2. 1. 2 改性膨润土与丁苯胶的混合性能
将SBR配合其它助剂分别同碳黑、白碳黑、改性膨润土在HA流变仪密炼机中混合达到平衡的扭矩及所需时间如表2所示。
从表2中可以看出,改性膨润土同SBR混合的平衡扭矩最小,平衡时间最短,说明改性膨润土易与SBR胶相混合。
2. 2 改性膨润土在轮胎厂的应用
2. 2. 1 半成品实验
我们在轮胎的内层胶和缓冲胶中加入5份及10份改性膨润土,进行了实验室小试配方和车间放大配合实验,小试配方和大实验配方的结果重复性很好,力学性能如表3所示。
从表3中可以看出,在轮胎内层胶和缓冲胶中加入5~10份改性膨润土,胶料的焦烧时间变化不大,对轮胎半成品的力学性能也没有影响,而目,显著提高了橡胶与帘线的粘接强度。
2.2.2 成品装车实验
改性膨润土在桦甸轮胎厂试用了5吨,成品胎按国标试验方法进行检测,耐久试验达79h,胎体完好无损,达到国家A级产品标准。同时成品胎也进行了实际里程装车试验,试验是在桦甸市客运公司进行的,时间为1996年8月份至1997年8月份,成品胎型号为900- 20- 16PR,实际装车数量是10台,车型为远征,路面是山区沙石路。本次试验的行驶单程均达到5万公单,最高行驶单程达5. 3公里,最低行驶单程为5万公.,无一质量问题,根据GB- 516- 89,山区及较差路面最低行驶单程为2. 5万公单,改性膨润土用于轮胎当中是可行的。
3 结论
(1) 在丁苯胶和天然胶中加入10份改性膨润土不影响其硫化胶综合力学性能。
(2) 改性膨润土加工性能良好,易与丁苯胶混合
(3) 在轮胎中加入改性膨润土可显著提高橡胶与帘线的粘接强度,半成品实验与成品装车试验表明在轮胎中加入5~10份改性膨润土是可行的。
